Shortly after launching the forum 2 weeks ago my wife found out that she needed unexpected surgery. As a result I have been offline, not answering emails or posting on Tattered Fly. Instead I have been assisting my wife during her recovery and playing Mr. Mom to our 4 kids. At our last visit to the doctor’s office words like “benign” and “no more surgery” were used by the doc and life is slowly returning to normal around the Bachman home.

I have a couple blog posts coming this next week. One on the Lochsa from the Clearwater region of Idaho and another on the Fort Hall Bottoms Indian Reservation.

In addition I will be giving Tattered Fly Forum readers a sneek peak at the “Locations” section that will soon be released. I’d love your feedback on it.

    All I can say is glad that you guys heard those words from the Dr. instead of the other words. I don’t know you or her, but it is probably safe to assume you don’t look good in a housecoat there Mr. Mom. In all seriousness, glad to hear it came out ok and I enjoy your stuff from the site.
